About me

I’m Neil, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer warm, down-to-earth counselling online across the UK and in person in Mickleover, Derby.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted. My aim is to offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore what is happening and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

My approach

I work in a relational and integrative way, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to your needs. Rather than offering advice or telling you what to do, I aim to help you explore your experiences, recognise patterns and develop a clearer understanding of yourself.

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is central to meaningful change. My style is warm, collaborative and down-to-earth, with space for honesty, reflection and sometimes humour.

Qualifications and professional membership

I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and undertake regular supervision and continuing professional development to support safe, ethical and effective practice.
