Individual Counselling
Counselling is a collaborative process. We’ll work together at a pace that feels manageable, with space to explore what is happening, understand patterns and consider what may help you move forward.
I won’t tell you what to do or push you in a particular direction. My role is to listen carefully, offer reflections and help you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels useful and meaningful.
What to expect
Free introductory call
A brief call gives us a chance to talk about what you’re looking for, ask any questions and see whether working together feels right.
Your first session
The first session is an opportunity to begin exploring what has brought you to counselling and what you would like support with. There is no pressure to tell me everything at once.
Ongoing sessions
We’ll usually meet at an agreed time each week or fortnight. Sessions will move at your pace and can be reviewed as the work develops.
Online or in person
I offer online counselling across the UK and in-person sessions in Mickleover, Derby.
What I help with
People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected, or you may simply want to understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes in your life.
I offer support with a range of emotional and personal difficulties, including anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, identity issues and major life changes.
Anxiety and panic
Support with feelings of dread, overwhelm, panic or feeling emotionally stuck, helping you develop a greater sense of safety and grounding.
Life transitions and burnout
Support with work stress, burnout, grief, relationship endings and major life changes, while building resilience and finding a way forward.
Self-esteem and identity
Working through perfectionism, people-pleasing and self-criticism, and developing a stronger, more secure sense of yourself.
Self-understanding
Exploring your emotions, experiences and patterns so you can understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful, lasting changes.
Ready to take the next step?
